Blow Dream is another one of our feminized photoperiod seeds. Because this seed is feminized, there is 99.9 % of a chance the plant will be female. Because it is photoperiod strain, it needs a little bit more attention when it comes to switching to flowering phase. To get photoperiod plants in their flowering phase, the lighting schedule needs to be adjusted.
The genotype of this strain is mostly sativa. This means it will provide a “mind high“. This is usually felt as uplifting and euphoric feeling, with increased energy and creativity. It is more recommended for daytime use.
Blow Dream has a complicated family tree, but most of its ancestors are sativas. The only indicas in the mixture are Northern Light #5, Kalifornien, Afghani indica and Blueberry. These provided short flowering period of Blow Dream. Sativa ancestors are mixture of Mexican, Columbian, Thai and Indian sativas, accompanied by Haze, Skunk #1 and Super Silver Haze.
This strain can be grown indoors or outdoors. Indoors, it will finish the flowering period after 9 weeks and produce between 600 to 800 grams per square meter. It will reach medium height. Outdoors, it will be ready to be harvested in late September or early October and can produce impressive 1500 grams per plant. Depending on the space the plant is given, it can reach pretty tall in heights. Keep in mind that, when the plant is finishing the flowering phase the branches will be weighted down by the weight of the buds it will need support. Otherwise, the branches will break, and the yield will suffer.
The buds are bright green colour and covered in resin crystals. They can contain around 24 % of T and medium amount of C. Taste is described as sweet, tangy, lemony, and earthy. The effects of this strain are typical for sativa. You can expect and uplifting high, accompanied by burst of creativity and alertness.
It is one of the favourites in California and in fact it is among the top ten most demanded strains in there, which gives a good measure about the quality of this jewel. Produces big plants that grow fast and wide, and it is appropriate for commercial purposes.
