OG Kush is available as photoperiod feminized seed or as autoflowering feminized seed. This version is photoperiod feminized, meaning the seed will develop as a female plant, that needs lighting adjustments, to switch from growing, to flowering phase.
It is a mostly indica strain, with Asian ancestors. It originates from Pakistani Hindu Kush indica, Lemon Thai sativa and ChemDawg, that originates from an unknown indica. Those strains have provided a beautiful mostly indica strain, that produces big yields with citrusy flavour.
OG Kush can be grown indoors or outdoors. Indoors, the flowering period end after 8 weeks, and it can produce up to 800 grams per square meter. Outdoors, the harvesting time is around the middle of October, and it produces around 800 grams per plant. It can reach pretty tall in heights. Because it produces a lot of buds, extra support will be needed, to prevent breaking of the branches.
The buds can contain very high amounts of T – around 24 %, and around 0.23 % of C. The genetic combination of this strain is Lemon Thai x Pakistani crossed with the equally famous ChemDawg, resulted as a exotic lemony and diésel flavours in the buds. Because this strain is mostly indica, you can expect the typical body high, that leaves you tired, relaxed and hungry. Because of the high amount of T it is not recommended for users with low T tolerance.
This indica-sativa hybrid has for decades been sweeping accross California due to its psychoactive potential, with some phenotypes producing up to 24% of T and a small amount of C. Combine this with amazing citrus flavour with diesel aroma and there is the reason this strain has become No. 1 in the United States.
