Amnesia Haze is feminized cannabis seed, meaning growing it, the seed will 99.9 % develop as female plant. Amnesia Haze is photoperiod seed. That means it needs special lighting schedule to start flowering.
Its genotype is mostly sativa. Sativas are known for their uplifting effects and do not have ”heavy high”, that would make you sleepy and tired, as indica would.
It is a product of Asian and Jamaican genetics. It originates from Laos and Jamaican sativa, that has been mixed with Hawaiian indica and sativa hybrid and Afghani Indica. Laos and Jamaican sativas give this strain distinct sativa side and ability to be successfully grown outdoors. The Hawaiian indica and sativa hybrid was mixed with Afghani indica. This mixture has resulted as indica and sativa hybrid, that can be grown indoors and outdoors. This strain is also known as legendary, historical, but sadly, unknown strain, that has many other descendants. All of this resulted in Amnesia Haze, that has been worked on and improved, to provide the best possible finish product one can offer.
Amnesia Haze can be grown indoors or outdoors. The difficulty level of growing is ranked as medium. For some it can be simple, for others it might be more difficult, because of the length of its flowering phase. Because of long flowering phase, many environmental factors can reduce the quality and quantity of the final product. When growing Amnesia Haze, you should keep out an eye for pests. They might hide in the buds or under the leaves and weaken the plant, resulting in smaller yield. In the end of flowering phase, it is recommended to provide a support for branches, because they can bend and break under the weight of the buds.
When grown indoors, the flowering period ends after around 10 to 13 weeks. The plant can produce around 600 to 800 gram per square meter. It usually reaches medium height, depending on the size of your growing space. Outdoors, it is ready to be harvested in October and it can produce up to 1500 grams per plant in ideal conditions. The plant on itself can reach up to two meters in height. The buds are light green, compact and shining from resin crystals. They can contain around 25 % of T and 0.90 % of C. The aroma is sweet and spicy mixed with musky aroma.
This strain has won first place in 3 different cannabis contests in the Netherlands in the past, including The High Times Cup 2004 and that alone should speak for its quality.
